    Founder, CloseWise

Writes on closing operations economics, vendor strategy, and platform decisions.

Tyler Temple founded CloseWise in 2020 after running signing work on the stack the industry defaulted to at the time: a scheduling tool, a spreadsheet, an accounting product, and an inbox that held whatever those three missed. The platform started as the thing he wanted to exist and grew into a system used by notary signing agents, signing services, title and escrow companies, and law firms across all 50 states.

His writing covers the economics of closing operations rather than the mechanics of any single signing: what salaried closers actually cost against a mobile network once volume moves, how a signing service should price work that varies in difficulty, when a preferred roster beats a marketplace, and where software decisions quietly determine margin.

CloseWise is veteran owned and operated, is SOC 2 compliant, and maintains a database of more than 140,000 notaries.
